​In September 2023 as part of the Lakes International Comics Arts Festival in Bowness Cumbria the very first Comics Show and Tell took place

In a room above the Arts Club nine comic book creators - Joe Latham, Rachael Smith, Lucy Sullivan, Lyndon White, Zara Slattery, Roger Langridge, John Allison, Dan Berry and David Gaffney -all read live from their latest works in progress alongside projected images. It was a relaxed event which audience members could drop in and out of as they felt and in the breaks and afterwards they could meet the artists too if they wanted and buy samples of work.

It was a unique cross-over bringing live literature and illustration together to celebrate the world of sequential art and David and Dan hope to bring it back again next year.
